All our synthetic palms and canes feature Class A fire retardant. This helps prevent major fires and will help your home or property be approved by insurance companies.

This fire retardant component needs high temperatures to activate, so if you want to test it, a cigarette lighter won't work; you need to simulate a real fire, that is, light it.
